if we Subtract any opposite numbers like-8 and 2 we will get the only answer six
Just like that. 
12-6=6
11-5=6
10-4=6
9-3=6
8-2=6
7-1=6
one more fact is that
As shown in the above image. 
12=12
11+1=12
10+2=12
9+3=12
8+4=12
7+5=12
6+6=12
